Birthday cake, vegetarian

Making a cake is a science, but no worries using this recipe u will get the cake, don't try to change the portions cause it won't come 

For the cake 2 1/2 cups self raising flour 1/2 coco (carob optional) 
3tsp backing powder 
1 cup yogurt (greek yogurt, or plain yogurt not very watery)
1/2 cup vegetable oil 
2 cups sugar (icing sugar )
2 orange rests socked in  1 1/2 hot water with 1 tbsp vanilla.

For inside of cake filling
 125 unsalted butter leave out of fridge, so soft, 200g icing sugar and orange rest 4 medium oranges.

For the icing  that covers the cake, 1 philadelphia original 200g
2 double cream 300ml each  
4 orang rests 
1 cup sugar (icing sugar)  or up to taste, beat the cream till fluffy and cover the cake.


Put the oven on at gas 4, 350 F, 180 C

Add all the ingridents except water sifting flour, coco ,backing powder, sugar.

Add yogurt, oil, Now  add 1cup water first with the orang rests and mix if more water needed add water little at a time should be a nice smooth mixture not to watery.

Line tin with butter sieve flour or add spray or backing paper optional, how ever u find it more convenient

Baike cake for 30 min or till toothpick comes out clean
